ML1191 Kahawai

Built at Grays Harbour, Aberdeen, Washington and completed in August 1943. Post war stayed with the NZ navy and became P3553, Tamaki in 1961 and Kahawai in 1966..

This picture at Kopu, Firth of Thames, east of Aukland where she is derelict. It is likely that she is now no more.
