ML1396 Pride of the Dart

ML1396 was built by Robinson of Lowestoft and launched 27.3.44. Post war she briefly became fast despatch boat 82 (FDB82) before being sold in 1947.

For many years she plied as a passenger vessel in the Dartmouth and Torbay area before ending her service after a grounding in 2002 near the entrance to the Dart. At one point we believed she had been broken up, but she is very much alive and kicking and being refitted by her new owner.
