Post War History
- 11/10/45 Paid off in Auckland and placed in reserve
- 3/46 Army = Bombardier
Towed targets and carried personnel and stores between Waiheke Island, Motutapu Island and Bay wharf, Devonport for 9 Coast Regiment Auckland - 11/53 Delivered to Wellington where carried out target towing duties for 10 Coast Regiment. Visit lasted 7 weeks. Bombardier made three more visits to Wellington, to assist with CMT training, in 11/1954, 03/1956 and 03/1957. RNZAF and RNZN crews delivered Bombardier to and from Wellington, these crews having necessary out-of-harbour qualifications.
- 11/59 Transferred back to the RNZN
- 1960 Commissioned as HMNZS Manga and joined fishery squadron
- 1967 After refit, was assigned to Wellington RNZNVR
- 1973 Rejoined fishery squadron
- 1974 Returned to Wellington RNZNVR
- 1977 Withdrawn from service and dismantled for disposal
- 3/81 Sold to Takapuna Contractors Ltd. Later sold again and transported to Helensville for rebuilding.
