- 1949 Purchased by Major George More MC, RE and used as a houseboat, moored at Fayed, Great Bitter Lake, Egypt. Major More and his family lived on 1316 until June 1951, when Mrs More returned to England, with the children, and Major More was posted to Germany. (In May 1951 the engines were overhauled on the slipway in Ismailia.)
